Legendary French clothier and licensing maven Pierre Cardin has died at age 98.
Through the 1970s and ’80s, the Cardin identify was embossed on hundreds of merchandise, together with watches and bedsheets, and bought at over 100,000 shops internationally.
Cardin was identified for popularizing the Area Age type that grew to become widespread within the 1960s.
The French Academy of Fantastic Arts introduced Cardin’s loss of life in a tweet on Tuesday. It didn’t specify when the designer died or his reason behind loss of life.
