Do not make “Downtown” spooky! It is impolite!
Y’all, I am simply going to chop proper to the chase on this one: Edgar Wright’s highly-anticipated new psychological horror movie, Final Evening in Soho, lastly has a trailer and, effectively, it appears to be like unimaginable! Significantly, simply test it out:
SPOOKY, RIGHT?! There’s lots to unpack right here, and but a lot left unsaid!!!
From the little we do know in regards to the movie, we all know it follows a vogue design lover named Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie).
When Eloise drifts off to dreamland, she is ~mysteriously~ introduced again in time to the 1960s, the place she seems to inhabit the lifetime of Sandy (Anya Taylor-Pleasure), a glamorous performer with A+ hair.
No actually, it is such a great hairdo that Eloise simply straight-up Single White Feminine‘s it in her actual, waking life.
BUT ANYWAY, this can be a horror film, so do not get too snug — issues are by no means as easy or straight-forward as they seem like, and stuff begins to move south REAL QUICK for Eloise.
And — on condition that Edgar Wright’s behind the wheel writing and directing — you already KNOW we’re in for one thing marvelously distinctive, enjoyable, and stunning-to-look-at!
Additionally (solely semi-related, however) the entire trailer is about to an extremely creepy rendition of the ’60s basic “Downtown” — which is imply, as a result of I actually fairly take pleasure in this tune and now I am a bit frightened of it.
There ya have it! Make sure you catch Final Evening in Soho when it hits theaters on Oct. 22 — simply in time for Halloween!
